SHINDOFUJI IRELAND

"Shindofuji“ is a Buddhist term, it means the body and the land where the person lives are indivisible.

Shinobu Koiwa, the president of Shindofuji Ireland, has been living in Ireland for 14 years and is originally from Japan. She has been building up her new life style in Ireland on top of her life experience in Japan. E.g. she cooks local ingredients by using traditional Japanese method and condiments and creates fusion foods by combining both Irish and Japanese cooking methods. Also she uses Irish and Japanese remedies to maintain her own, friends and family health.

She believes that's life style for her is “Shindofuji Ireland” and that applies not only to foods but also other cultural aspects.

Shindofuji Ireland is a voluntary cultural organization which introduces fusion of Irish and Japanese culture from all angles in Ireland and Japan. It covers foods, films, music and more...
