Detailed History

Shinobu Koiwa
President of Shindofuji Ireland

Organises intercultural events between Ireland and Japan. Carried out Silent Film Live Show in UK and Ireland. One of the shows in Ireland was taken place as one of the endorsement of events for 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ireland.

Obtained Macrobiotic Therapist Cert and working as Assistant chef at International Macrobiotic School.

Works as a personal Macrobiotic chef for one of Irish families and cook dinners weekly. 

Carries out numbers of cooking demonstrations, catering services based on Macrobiotics in Dublin.

Planning cookery classes and setting up Macrobiotic food stall at farmers markets.

  • Late 80’s – 90’s Attended Toru Iwashita’s workshop

  • 1988 -1991 Produced Toru Iwashita’s performance (Hohge series), Documentary film show + Live performance (Mitsutaka Ishii + Lecture by Inuhiko Yomota), Film and live talk show of Kidlat Tahimik (Turumba)

  • 2015 – to date Assistant Chef at International Macrobiotic School in UK (contract), Set up Shindofuji Ireland

  • 2016 Set up Natural Celt for export Irish seaweed and organic foods and health & dietary consultation along with catering service.
